"Made for Everyone"

Working with children during work-from-home (WFH) would be tiresome as parents must assist them often. Moreover, they may not have a proper space to work at home. Setting a routine for children is one of the ways to get them occupied without bothering their parents' work. MoDe is designed to target WFH parents living in small housing areas. MoDe is a sofa and a private workspace. It provides two children's tables and chairs and two storage boxes. In this case, the parent can work on it while allowing the children to play close by. MoDe is an example that uses 'Produce on Demand' concept as it is designed specifically based on customers' demand utilizing upcycled materials found locally. It is intended to reduce mass productions, avoiding producing waste. MoDe is designed for disassembly which means everyone can circulate the parts and also avoid materials going into the landfill. MoDe offers a lot of modularity which is perfect for a place like small flats or apartments. Besides giving different directions, the modularity also participates in reducing cost where people don't need to purchase a lot of furniture. MoDe challenges the conventional way of production and retail. It is the future of furniture design and production. It is designed to reduce waste and stop the extraction of raw materials from mother earth. The circularity starts from designing, where designer designs the furniture utilizing standard upcycled materials combined with new 3D printing joining components to meet the NEW "Produce On Demand" solution.
