Beotanica

The idea inspiration comes from home indoor plants decorations that we might have or see in everyday life as well from one of my friend's school research project regarding music contribution in plants' growth. Additionally, music contributes to the growth of plants. When the sound wave energy reaches the leaves, the energy will produce vibrations in the leaves and cause the leaf stomata to open so that it can increase the intake of air, water vapor, and fertilizer given. The energy of musical vibrations in plants can also increase the efficiency of sunlight absorption in photosynthesis. Jazz and classical music are good choices of music to stimulate plants. Plants that are near other plants tend to grow faster than those are grown in isolation room due to the vibration sensing. Additionally, this project aims to encourage users in supporting more green for indoor buildings. Beotanica is modular, where it can be switched into a table plant pot and a wall plant pot. Provided in different types of cloth customization and styles, Beotanica is timeless and adaptive wherever and whenever.
